Reading the grid
Available
Not in the latest registry data. Free to register.
Taken
Already registered.
No data
This extension is not in the registry data, so it cannot be checked.
Where the data comes from
Availability is derived from a registry-sourced list of every registered domain on the internet, covering all 1,400 extensions and refreshed daily. That is why the search answers in one request instead of querying WHOIS a thousand times, and why a result can lag a registration by up to a day.
Popular extensions: .com, .ai, .io, .net, .app, .xyz, .shop, .store, .site, .tech, .club.
Questions
How fast is the search?
A name is checked against every TLD in a single request that returns in milliseconds, so results appear as you type.
How accurate are the results?
Registered names are read from a registry-derived list of every domain on the internet, refreshed daily. A name shown as available was not in the latest list. A few names are reserved or premium at the registry even when unregistered, so confirm with the registrar before you buy.
Can I check several names at once?
Yes. Separate them with commas and each name is checked against every TLD.
What does the star next to a name mean?
It marks names that registries tend to price as premium: short labels and dictionary or commercial words. The registrar has the final say.
Do I need an account?
No. An account only adds favorite TLDs, bookmarks and history.
